Nebraska Horse Farm For Sale 40 acresHouse, Barns, and OutbuildingsThe house and garage sit at an angle to the road, facing the land. From the porch, you look down the hill to the arena, tack building, corral, and barns. (Click here for a drawing of the layout of the buildings on the land.) The house, garage, storm cellar, tack building, and Barn #1 were finished in 1998. Barn #2 was built in 2002. The house is one story, ranch style, and has an open plan. (Click here for a drawing of the layout of the house.) It is a steel frame construction with thick walls. The 1960 sq feet include 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large eat-in kitchen, a dining room or study area, a large living area, utility area, and lots of storage. In 2003 we enclosed the 8 ft x 34 ft breezeway that connects the house and garage and we screened in the 6 ft x 70 ft porch. The garage has two electric doors (one 10-ft and one 16-ft) opening to the parking bays and has a large separate shop room with sink, plus more storage space in front of one of the parking bays. There is no basement but the house was built to make it easy to add on a room, over a basement, behind the living area (on the side with the wood-burning stove). (Click here for more details about the house and other buildings.) TO VIEW LARGER PICTURES, CLICK ON PHOTOS. Photos of various buildings Photos, left to right.
